The cyan tent is a fixed sequence — there is no fail state and no choice that removes you from it. Read his dialogue rather than rushing it: the scene is one of the clearer statements that the troupe treats humans as material.

The circus physician

The Doctor is the coldest thing in the circus. He is intelligent, reserved, and prefers wit to force. He performs some form of human experimentation — his specimens line his tent, their eyes glowing the same cyan as his lenses — and the game does not explain what he is trying to find out. When his violent side takes over, his lenses flash red.

Personality

Two sides, switched by the colour of his lenses: composed and clinical, or impassioned and sadistic. Either way he is intimidating and intelligent, speaks in short sentences to the protagonist, and does make some effort to reassure them while injecting them to stop them struggling.
