This is an independent, fan-made guide to The Freak Circus. We are not affiliated with the game's developer. This policy explains what happens to information when you visit.

2. Information we collect

We do not ask for or store personal information such as names, email addresses or phone numbers. There are no accounts and no contact forms on this site. If you email us at contact@thefreakcircus2.com we will of course have whatever you chose to put in that email, and we use it only to answer you.

• Usage data: we use standard analytics (Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics) to see which pages are read and how people arrive. This is aggregate, non-personal information.

3. Local storage

The route checker and the scene checklists save your progress in your own browser using localStorage. That data never leaves your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.

4. Cookies and advertising

Cookies are used to remember your language preference and by our analytics and advertising partners. This site carries advertising via Google AdSense, which may use cookies to serve ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can manage ad personalisation through your Google account settings.

5. Third-party links

We link out to itch.io, Tumblr and other external sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

6. Children's privacy

The game this site covers is rated 18+ and contains graphic horror content. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy are posted on this page with an updated date.
