The Freak Circus 2: is it a sequel or Day 2?

There is no game called The Freak Circus 2. The official release on itch.io is still published as The Freak Circus, and the developer's own devlogs talk about Day 2, Day 3 and updates — not a sequel. If you searched for "The Freak Circus 2" you almost certainly want the Day 2 update, or news about Day 3.

Why the confusion exists

The confusion is easy to explain. The game's content is divided into in-game days, the second block of content was called Day 2, and "Freak Circus 2" is simply how people type that into a search box. It does not help that several sites present a "sequel" as though it were a separate release.

The official release is still titled The Freak Circus

About this site's domain

This site's domain has a 2 in it. We are not going to pretend a sequel exists because of that. What the domain is good for is getting people who type "The Freak Circus 2" to the thing they actually need — usually the Day 2 walkthrough, or news about Day 3.
